Miss Hailey is 3 months!

It's hard to believe that Miss Hailey is already 3 months old!!!  Hailey is showing more and more personality daily.  She talks non-stop, giggles, and LOVES her brother. We usually get the most giggles when he is being a turkey and she lets out this belly laugh. I smile just thinking about it.  She is super easy going, that is unless you touch her while she is content, or look at her, or try to snap a picture(yes, we went 2 times for her 3 month picture and only managed to get 2 where she isn't screaming!) . AH, the joys of a diva. hahaha. No seriously, she is such a good baby. Hailey can roll over from back to front, and is exploring more toys daily. She especially enjoys tea parties with her dad! AW! She is getting into a better routine---takes 2-3 naps during the day, and IF she wakes at night its only to eat and then she goes right back to sleep! She also loves her friend Sofi, and is excited about some new girlfriends arriving this summer! She is an amazing addition to our family, and we just love her!

So serious--but check out those eyes! Beautiful!

Her smile lights up the room!

While Mom is away....

While Mom is away, the family will work! That's right, work!  I was able to sneak away for the weekend with my mom (think shopping, shopping, eating, shopping, sleeping, shopping) and Scott was Mr. Mom!  Not only did I enjoy my time away, I am sooo scheduling more little trips if I get to come home to fresh flowers in the house, all my planters filled outside the house, laundry done, groceries bought, dishes put away, and the list goes on and on! AMAZING!!!!  I say it all the time, but I am sooo lucky!  Stay tuned for Hailey's 3 month update!
Check  it out-Scott even got the socks to match! You would never know I was gone!

So happy to have Dad time!

Tyler picked out all the flowers by himself!

Sweet Angels

So I love my kids, and our crazy chaotic life, but I also love the silence that comes from a good nap.  I know I can go in and watch them sleep, and just stare at them. I love to look at their mouths, eyelashes, everything!  I mean, these are our miracles! Both of them came on "their terms" and have just made our life complete.  I could watch them for hours.  It's these quiet moments that remind me just how much I love being a mom, and how amazing Scott is for letting me enjoy our angels everyday!

Way to go Grandma A!!!

It's hard to imagine that its already been a year since my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer.  I remember her not wanting to tell me, afraid how I would react or what I would think.  So when she stopped over on a school day I knew something was up. Hearing that she had gone in for a biopsy, I reacted in typical Jen form---so what now, and what do we need to do? It wasn't long after that she found out it was in fact cancer.  Me, yet again, just in the "unemotional" mindset just wanted to know what was next.  I figured she would get a mastectomy, which she did, just was unsure about other treatment along with it.  So when they said chemo and herceptin I still reacted in my get it done attitude.  It's not that the news didn't effect me, but I just knew my mom would be ok and that life sure as heck isn't fair.  This certainly wasn't her first ride on the "bad luck" train.  But there was one thing that I always have known about my mom---she could do anything she put her mind to.  No matter how hard, emotional or physically draining the challenge was, she always succeeded. And not only did she succeed, she was able to inspire others as she did so(which just makes her more special).  I couldn't have asked for a better role model, and I am so proud to have her be such a part of my children's lives.  So here's to you Grandma A--I'm sure the road ahead won't be easy or fair, but nothing you can't overcome!

Easter Fun!!!

Our Easter has been 48 hours of good times!  It all started Saturday morning with a visit from Oma and Opa. Tyler was so excited to see them and talked their ear off, while Hailey got some cuddle time.  Both kiddos recieved some fun Easter treats! Thanks Oma and Opa! After naps, we headed over to the Uberts for some more fun.  Tyler and Hailey loved the egg hunt, good food, and of course more Easter treats! Thanks Papa, Paveys, Kirschbaums, Lovells, Steve and Stef, Danica, and Pierobons! Sunday morning after finding Easter baskets, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa U's  for brunch.  Again, Tyler and Hailey got some more Easter baskets from not only G and G Ubert, but Ty got one from Auntie Sami, and Hailey got one from Uncle Mark and Uncle David.  Then Sunday night Grandma and Grandpa A came over for  pizza.  Ty and Hailey each got another Easter basket---Um, I am noticing a trend here.  These two are beyond spoiled and loved!!! We are so lucky to have been able to spend our whole weekend with the family! Seriously, how lucky are these two to have been able to see 4 great-grandparents in one weekend?!?!?!  Thanks everyone for a great Easter!

Me and My Lovies!

One proud Dad!

Tyler loved looking for eggs!

Hailey got in on the egg action too!

How cute are these two?!?
