Easter!!!

Our Easter weekend was so fun. Saturday morning I headed with my mom to her Golden Apple Breakfast.  They were presenting all the finalists with a plaque for themselves and their schools.  It was really neat to be in a room filled with amazing educators, and seeing the true passion in what they do.  It will be a few more weeks until the winners are revealed, but just getting to be a finalist is a HUGE deal. We are all so proud of my mom. Saturday afternoon we headed to Uberts for the first Easter celebration. The kids had so much fun doing the egg hunt and loved all their goodies. Thanks to all! Sunday morning the kids searched for their baskets from the Easter Bunny. We were able to play some of their new games before heading to Uberts for brunch and more Easter baskets. With the weather being so great we walked over to the pirate park before we headed to my parents for dinner, where the kids got even more Easter loot.  They are beyond spoiled! We snuck in one more walk after dinner before calling it  a night.  We were trying to walk off all the delicious food! It was a wonderful Easter!

Weekend Fun

With our weekends quickly filling up(t-ball,  a graduation, vacations), we have been trying to have fun as a family.  Last weekend we took the kids to their first Wolves game. They sat so nicely and were totally glued to the action! They both left saying they wanted to play hockey, and have started playing it in our family room, haha! This weekend we headed to Top Golf.  Scott has been wanting to take us there for a while, and as soon as Ty heard "golf"  he was getting dressed and packing his golf bag.  We had a great lunch, and both Ty and Hailey hit a bucket of balls. To say they were having a blast is an understatement.  It was so crazy to  me watching the two of them...I love them both so much, and I can not believe how fast the time is going. It makes me smile just thinking of their faces glowing with happiness. They really are the best kids!
