Hailey Victoria is 1!!!

Our little girl is already one! We love her so much, and its just crazy to think what our life would be like without her.  Hailey can always make us smile. She has the most amazing toothy grin and fun personality ever!  Hailey enjoys play dates, LOVES her brother and tries to copy him, is a huge dancing machine, and has quite the appetite. For such a little peanut, the girl can eat! Watching her pretend play, whether it be being a mom to her dolls, cooking, putting on make-up, dress up, or driving trucks with her brother, it is so fun to see her thought process.  Sometimes I don't always give her enough credit for her smarts, but she truly is a smart cookie. Example, she can follow simple directions, communicate fairly well about her wants/needs, and even has shown interest in the potty(She went to the bathroom on it today! WHAT?!?!?!) She really only has  few words, "mom, da, hey(hi)" and will just down right yell at Ty.  She will "vrooom" cars and "yummmmm" for food she enjoys. Hailey is a cuddle bug, and loves her morning hugs.  She is very independent, and can keep herself busy.  She loves to sleep with her blanket and minnie mouse, and has adjusted to just milk well. Miss Hailey, we love you so much, and can't even begin to imagine our family without you.  You are one amazing little girl, and although I hate to say it, I can't wait to see what an amazing girl you will become. (I'd much rather keep you small, but I don't think that is an option!) We hope you had a wonderful birthday!

Friday Night Fun!

Wow, what a weekend! I have so much to blog about---but thought I would start with this since I still need to get all my other pictures from Hailey's party together/organized! So Friday night was Tyler's first Bulls game! Scott scored some amazing 4th row seats, and what a treat it was! Ty was super excited to stay up late, have some alone time with mom and dad, and eat junk food! We knew he was having a blast when he said, "I want to come back tomorrow for another game!" Ty also made us laugh because he let us know every time the cheerleaders had on a new outfit. Checking out girls already?!?!?! Not to mention the Bulls won! What a fun Friday night!

BRRRR

Since it is finally cold out, we have been inside staying busy! I  love the cold--- sweaters, hot coffee, boots, but with kids its not quite the same.  Being stuck in the house, we are always looking for fun things to do---

3 1/2!

Wow! Tyler is 3 1/2! I can't believe it! Ty is still our super sweet, smart, special little man.  He can always make us laugh and is really sooo good.  He is like a 90 year old man trapped in a 3 1/2 year old body! We just love him so much!

Tyler---
31.5 lbs and 40 inches tall

Gets up anywhere between 5:30 am and 6, but doesn't get out of bed until 6:00 on his clock
Goes to bed at 7:30
And yes, he still naps!  I have tried skipping this a few times, however he still wakes up at the same time in the morning, so we might as well take a nap! And quite frankly, he tosses and talks all night in his sleep, so naps are when he gets a nice good deep sleep!

Random----
Ty wants to be a fireman or animal dr.
LOVES birthday parties, and thank goodness we have lots to go to! =)
Ty  writes his own name very well, draws stick people, cuts and glues at school.
Has the best imagination---his animals/guys talk, likes to be different characters(pirates looking for treasures, knights at the castle, batman), and puts on puppet shows!
Ty can roll his tongue like a hot dog! hahaha
Is a "Discount Double Check" Packer Fan especially on Tator tot Sundays!
Has a huge vocabulary and will use it correctly! This always amazes me! Especially when it is sooo random!
Ty's very sharp---we have to be very careful what we say about anything, because his ears hear it and repeat it. He makes connections even when we use "code" and he remembers EVERYTHING!

We are so proud of the little person you are becoming Tyler!

New found freedom!

Hailey has officially given up crawling(for about 2 weeks now!) and is loving her new found freedom! I too am enjoying this, since everywhere we go is a new adventure for her! And man, we have had some fun ones---check them out!

Wild Child

Miss Hailey was giving me a run for my money yesterday---just a girl with her own agenda.  So thank goodness we had a play date with the Foley's at Yu's island.  Tyler got to see his buddy Jackson, and Hailey definitely got her wild child out(hence the outfit)! It was so fun to see such a little munchkin walking around the place and playing on all the equipment! After that it was a nice 3 hour nap! WAHOO!

11months!

Wow, in a matter of weeks Hailey will be a year old. Unbelievable! She continues to make us laugh everyday.  At 11 months, Hailey can walk,  quite well as a matter of fact, but still hasn't decided to give up crawling. She is interacting more and more with Tyler, and tries so hard to play with him. She will push his cars around with him, play catch with him, and will share anything with him. She truly is crazy about Ty.  She also has discovered that everything has a name---and will point, and yell for us to tell her what something is. She is MAJORLY girlie! She loves jewelry, especially necklaces, shoes, bows, dresses(when given a choice on what to wear that is picked right away) and loves to put on lipsmacker! ha! She also is loving her dolls, and gives them hugs, kisses, bottles all the time. Another favorite thing of hers is her chair!  She loves to sit in it, and when we are out somewhere she looks for a chair that's her size! It is so cute!  She is officially done nursing, but is still only drinking breast milk because I have enough stored until her first birthday. Whew! She will be starting a class on Thursday mornings next week that will involve music and crafts.  She loves the outdoors and will gladly get bundled up if she knows she will get some fresh air! We love this girl so much, and can't wait for what the future holds for our princess!
