Sea World

Tuesday we took a break from Disney and went to Sea World. I can't believe that Tyler has been to all 3 Sea Worlds at 4 years old, and Hailey has been to 2 at 1 1/2! We started our day there on the Antarctica Ride---so neat that it ended in the penguin exhibit! The rest of the day flew by! We saw the Sea Lion show, Hailey picked an oyster and got a pearl, played in the splash pad,  fed sharks, touched dolphins and sting rays, and of course Ty had to ride Atlantis(Scott said Splash Mt is nothing compared to this!).  So much fun!

Tyler and Hailey getting up close with penguins. It was FREEZING!

Meeting her personal diver and selecting her oyster.

They both thought this was so cool.

I have a picture of Ty and Scott in front of every shark exhibit. Love them!

Feeding frenzy! The kids couldn't feed them fast enough!

Sailing away on a pirate ship!

Check out that last row---those are my boys! =)

Hollywood Studios

We headed to Hollywood Studios on Monday morning for breakfast with the characters from Disney Junior.  Ty and Hailey had so much fun taking pictures and dancing with them! It was  a great experience.  After breakfast we hit some rides, and met more characters. After the park we had a great dinner and hit the pool at the hotel. Then we watched the fireworks from our room in our pajamas. What a great day!

Handy Manny and Ty----love this pic!

Disney--Day One!!!

The day had finally come! We were off to Disney World! The kids were soooo excited, they were up LONG before the alarm...which of course made me nervous how they would travel. But as usual, our kids were great! We grabbed a quick lunch, checked into our AMAZING hotel( a brand new Embassy Suites minutes from the parks), then headed over to Magic Kingdom. First stop, EARS! I mean, what is a trip in Disney without ears? Both kids picked their own out.  The rest of the afternoon was filled with rides, ice cream, and the kids even made it up to the parade and fireworks! What a great way to start our week!

Ty and Hailey loved the monorail ride! Even this one at the airport! haha
LOVE this! Thanks Jen for letting me know the best place to get them!

Last Hurrah

Our "final" summer weekend was a blast.  Friday Tyler had meet the teacher at his school. He is so excited to have the same teachers as last year(as are we!) After that Ty and I headed out for donuts. Thanks Uncle David and Stacey for watching Hailey so I could have some alone time with my little man! Saturday was just a busy get stuff done around the house kind of day.  Sunday we were able to take the kids to the Cubs game....and needless to say Hailey's first time there was a memorable one! Not only did we have amazing 3rd row seats(Scott is truly the best!) the kids were invited to run the bases after the game! It was a great way to spend the day as a family. I am so lucky that I have a fantastic husband and two adorable munchkins. Life is Good!!!
