Busy May!

We have been so busy! Tyler "graduated" 3/4 year old preschool. It was so weird to watch him receive his award, he looked so old to me! He has made so many great friendships, and we are so proud of him. This one little girl from his class was having a major meltdown that she wouldn't see Ty until the fall....I can't believe he is making the girls cry already! I have a feeling he will break a few hearts....Hahaha. On Friday before heading up north we had a great playdate with the Foleys---riding our bikes to the pirate park and a picnic lunch! The kids had so much fun! Wisconsin is always a blast, and it was sooo nice to have an extra day up there with Scott. The kids visited the farm(Hailey loved everything except the baby goats, which was quite hilarious to watch her run from them!) had Sonny's Pizza, Ty learned how to use a bow and arrow, and Hailey learned how to drive a four wheeler! Not to mention plenty of playing on the beach! It was so hard to leave! :)

And this is what worries me....had to have Dad's beer can! YIKES!

15 Months

Wow, this time with Hailey is flying by! She is such a funny, cute, and smart little girl---little being the key word.  She is now officially 21 lbs! HAHAHA! She is always on the go, and would love to be out and about all day long. She loves going to the park---and she is a wild woman there! She will climb up and go down the slides like a crazy person! She has given me quite a few heart attacks, as well as every other mom there! =) She loves her class, and has really grasped the idea of playing with friends, seeing friends, etc.  A few of her favorites are Tyler of course,  Quinn, Marshall, Alyece, Natalie, Greyson, Sofia, and our neighbor Melissa(Annabelle and Greyson's mom). It is hilarious to see her beeline for their house to give Melissa a hug if she is outside. Cracks me up all the time.  Hailey is still super super girlie, and loves to accessorize.  She loves to wear sunglasses, skirts,  and sparkly shoes! Her new hair-do is a ponytail----with a bow still of course! Hailey still doesn't talk much, which concerned me, but my pediatrician isn't worried, because she understands everything! Despite not talking, she is very social and loves to be the center of attention! Hailey is  a yeller....we have started giving her time-outs for her yelling. She will walk right over and sit in time out, then run over and give hugs and kisses to say sorry.  I am hoping she outgrows this soon, and starts to use her words to communicate, since her yells are super high pitched and loud!  With that really being her only "behavior" she is such a joy everyday! She can always make us smile, laugh, and just completes our family.  We love you Hailey!

Loving her gladiator sandals!

Her "CHEESE" face. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Hailey had her first ear infection----I took this while she slept on me.
So beautiful even when she is sick!

Date Night!

Saturday night was date night in the Ubert house.... Scott and Hailey went to build-a-bear, followed by shopping at the mall. Hailey made a princess bear complete with tutu and tiara. GO FIGURE! Tyler and I were off to the movies! We enjoyed The Croods at AMC. We then all met up for dinner! It was a great time for everyone, and nice to get a little one on one with the kids. =) Too bad I forgot to take pics!!!

I do have other pictures to share!  With the weather being gorgeous, we have taken full advantage! We have been to the zoo, flown kites, visited Crabtree Nature Center, and even drove some big trucks! Check out all the action---and stay tuned for Hailey's 15 month update!

BIG BEAR BIG BEAR!!! Hailey was not about to get close to the big bear!

Tyler, Hailey and Lyla at Palatine's Fly a Kite! It was so much fun!

Crabtree with the Foleys

This better not happen in 15 years!!!!
The kids had fun sitting in a paddy wagon at Palatine's Big Trucks Event!

They call him Semi Ty

I think Hailey was practicing being homecoming queen...she was waving to everyone from this!

And of course she had to drive a truck too!

My two favorite guys!

They  have so much fun together---it makes me smile knowing that they truly love each other!
