Recital!!!

This year Hailey tried poms for her dance class. She LOVED it!!! So when recital time came, we knew it would be good. Her class danced to "shake your tailfeather" in the most adorable costumes. They were sooo cute and did a great job.  She also was finally old enough to perform in the daddy daughter dance.  Scott and her were beaming the whole time. Bravo Hailey!

US Open 2017

Scott came home with tickets to the US Open at Erin Hills, and we both knew we had to go. What an amazing experience! We headed up after Tyler's baseball game, but still were able to enjoy a full day there! Besides just the beauty of the course, it was so neat to see the professionals up close. We also were able to catch up with one of Scott's college roommates and his wife, which is always a good time. Tyler was seriously watching everything and soaking it all in. Golf is by far his favorite sport(he is getting scary good) and it definitely inspired him even more. I am so grateful for all the opportunities my kids have had....and for the man that makes it all possible. =)

probably the coolest part, Tyler was given a ball from JB Holmes

Spring and Last Days of School

What a fun spring we had! The kids had very busy schedules, and before we knew it school was over! Here's a quick glimpse of it all!

Tyler completed Suzuki Book 1, played a solo in front of his peers, and received an award for his accomplishments.

Kids(or mainly me) were excited to meet WGN's Ana Belaval at "Fill the Boot for Ben".
Hailey had her gymnastics show

And conquered her fear of the beam---she nailed this handstand!

Preschool graduation----man will we all miss these teachers! They have been so amazing for Hailey and truly have loved,  nurtured, and helped her grow the past two years.

Bye Maple!!!!

We are so proud of you!!!!

Tyler at the farm with his orange kitten

Hailey found a cute one to snuggle as well!

Tyler had to walk this bass onto the beach so his line wouldn't break. He has turned into quite the fisherman!

Last day of 2nd grade! Two thumbs up for a great year!
