Hailey's Parties

Miss Hailey was so excited to celebrate her birthday with family and friends---the lucky little lady just happened to have 2 parties! I had asked Hailey what kind of party she wanted....her response, "I love hot dogs, I want a hot dog party". Then two seconds later she said, maybe Frozen cooking. So of course we said, why not both?!?!?  Her first party was a Hot Dog party with the family! All four great grandparents, both sets of grandparents, aunties and uncles were able to come over to spoil Hailey with some presents and enjoy a hot dog bar with all the fixings. She had so much fun and it was great to catch up with everyone.  Her second party was a Little Chef Frozen themed party with friends. Unfortunately it was scheduled for the morning of Super Bowl, so due to the blizzard it was cancelled. =( But the good news was we were able to reschedule for yesterday, and I am so glad we did! All of Hailey's closest friends helped her celebrate a little late.  It was such a cute party, where all the kids wore their cooking aprons and made some delicious food creations. Seriously, they were able to do all the cooking(minus the oven part) themselves!  It was extra special because the instructor was Ty's cooking teacher when I was pregnant with Hailey! Ms. Dee did an amazing job, and most importantly Hailey and her friends had a blast! Hailey is so blessed to have amazing family and friends! We hope you had a great 3rd birthday Hailey! We love you so much!

Hailey V is 3!!!

Wow, I can't believe Miss Hailey Victoria is 3 years old! Where on earth did the time go? Hailey has been celebrating her birthday almost all month...like every girl should! =) The weekend before her birthday we took her to Frozen on Ice. She LOVED it! On her actual birthday we celebrated with opening presents in the morning, followed by her favorite breakfast, then we went and got manicures, hit toys r us all before Ty got home from school. Then she had dance that afternoon, dinner at Rainforest Cafe, and got to build an Elsa at Build a Bear.  We came home, sang and had Cold Stone. What a great day!
Hailey loves dance and gymnastics. These two activities are by far her favorite.  She also is in swimming lessons. It is kinda crazy because for all her activities she is in the "older class"---where the kids are 3-6 years old!  She loves music, and sings to her dolls and animals all day long. She is definitely a little mom, Teapot comes with her everywhere. Lucky for me she is pretty good about leaving her in the car when we go in stores. Hailey loves to play board games. She will always ask to squeeze one in before Ty gets home from school!  Hailey is really pretty easy going....until you poke her.  If she is mad, look out! We are working on her temper tantrums(more because she is so stinking stubborn!) but they are getting better.(and even so they really aren't that bad) She is a couch potato. She would LOVE to sit and watch movies or TV all day long! She is still super girlie...all about make-up, shoes, sunglasses, and pretty dresses! She is a peanut, not quite 35 inches tall and 26.5 lbs. But don't let her size fool you. She can keep up with the best of them, and tends to be the boss. She is so excited for preschool in the fall---I just hope they are ready for her! haha!

Life with Hailey is always fun. She has the best giggle, smile, and eye rolls. Oh yes, she has started these! I love having a mini bestie, and we love watching her grow! Happy Birthday Hailey!
