Hailey's Big Day

Last Wednesday was Hailey's big dance recital.  She has been talking about it for months, and was so excited to perform in not one, but TWO dances this year! I asked her if she had a favorite, and her first response was Tippy Toe Mouse(the tap dance) but then she quickly said but she loved being at Cinderella's Ball(the ballet).  She definitely has had a great year at dance with her friends. She is such a natural and of course didn't miss a single beat in either dance. We are so proud of her!

Last day of Kindergarten

Wow, just typing that makes me both happy and sad at the same time! The year really flew by! Tyler has grown so much this year.  We went from reading to him, to him reading to us. And not just any books....chapter books. His current favorites are Cam Jansen, Magic School Bus, and Captain Underpants. He learned how to play violin. He is continuing that this summer.  His art has become much more detailed.  He has developed a love of sports. His penmanship and writing is neater and amazing to read. He normally will write multiple sentences on one given subject.  We truly feel so blessed to have had  his teacher providing such a great learning environment where he was able to excel not just academically but socially as well.  Tyler was in Caring Club, which was open to all grades that focused on giving back to the school and community. Tyler has really made some great friends that I picture him being close with for a long time. We are so proud of our little man and all his accomplishments this year.  We love you Ty!
