Miss 8 Months

Little Miss Hailey is already 8 months----not to my liking! This girlie is so sweet I just would love for her to slow down! Hailey is amazing. This is an age that I just love---exploring, talking, eating, but still my cuddle bug. She likes to test us though, and thinks its funny when she is "naughty".  She loves to be chased when she crawls, and you can hear her hearty laugh.  Her demeanor is still the same, way laid back and happy.  She does seem to get very grouchy though when she gets hungry, and I think its just because she LOVES food.  She will eat anything---seriously! She has yet to refuse anything, and normally grins when she knows its time to eat. Miss Hailey can wave, but usually will just smile at people. Hailey also really likes to talk. She will blab all day long, and likes to get into "talking" matches with Ty, which basically means him imitating her sounds, which she then makes louder. Both Scott and I have come to realize there probably won't ever be quiet time in our house again. =) I am cherishing our new mom and Hailey time while Ty is at school.  The two hours fly by, but its fun to have that time one on one with her.  She is still a mama's girl, but hey, I will take it while I can! I just love her!  Miss 8 Months, you are our little princess, and we are so thankful for you!

She is really enjoying her siblings class on Mondays

Never too young for a little blue box!

So fun!

LOVE that face---notice her trying to take the remote from Ty?!?!? haha.

AWW Tyler!

I LOVE this kid! He never fails to make me smile, and sometimes I just wonder what goes on in his little head!

So we were driving to Nordstrom the other day( I swear our car rides produce the best stories!) when Tyler said,"Mom, look at the Olympic car!".  It took me a minute to figure out what he was talking about---Can you guess?  Yep, it was an Audi in front of us. (get it?!?!?) I can't believe the connections this kid makes! Seriously, olmypic rings/ audi rings! This kid is way too smart, and way too cute!
AWW Tyler, what am I going to do with you?!?!

Crabtree Nature Center

With such a beautiful cool morning, we decided to meet the Foleys at Crabtree Nature Center for our play date.  Jen had been there before, so she showed us all the amazing things to see!  She even made the boys a scavenger hunt, which kept them busy(and super excited)  while we were able to enjoy a nice walk with our girlies. As always, everyone had a great time! We can't wait to go back again! Thanks Foleys!

Picking up bugs from under logs---totally grossed  me out, but they loved it!

A new roof

It was time----we finally decided to tackle the challenge of redoing our roof.  Rather than wait until it leaked, we tried to be proactive and get it done! I am so glad we did!  The whole deck needed to be replaced! So go figure that our "weekend" project is now a "two weekend" adventure! In the end though it will all be worth it! Scott couldn't have done this by himself, so big thanks to his brothers, his dad, my dad, and Jeremy! It is great to know that family is always willing to help!

I'm sure this will give the grandmas a heart attack,
but yes, Ty is a monkey and enjoyed climbing the ladder by himself.

Ty loved watching the crane!

Our lovely project!

Ty and Keith on the crane.

And yes even though Scott was working his butt off, it was his birthday! The kids gave him his presents bright and early in the morning, and then after everyone had gone home, we sang and had cheesecake.  Scott is an amazing dad and husband, and with all the sacrifices he makes for us, we tried to show him just how much we care and love him on his 31st. =)

Tyler's a Preschooler!

Today was Tyler's first day of preschool!  It was so surreal to see my little man walking with a backpack down the sidewalk.  I thought I would be more emotional, but to be honest, I was so happy for him.  It was like watching him be who he's supposed to be. Scott took the day off, so I was able to stay with Ty  at school and Scott had some alone time with Hailey.  Right away Ty went to the familiar faces--Annabelle, Greta, and Lyla, who in my opinion were just as happy to see him. He found his name tag, then played, had circle time, craft, and played again! It was a great transition to start the school year! We can't wait to see and hear of all his new adventures! Way to go our "big" preschooler!

Ty couldn't wait to get out the door!

My two favorite guys!

So exciting!

Circle time with Friends!

Tyler surrounded by girls! It starts already! hahaha!

Rather than just stay home the rest of the day, we made it super special and headed down to The Museum of Science and Industry. Both Hailey and Tyler enjoyed the exhibits, especially since it was pretty much empty! There was room for everyone to roam and explore, and having Scott with made it amazing! What a fantastic day!
