Tyler's 4!!!

I can't believe that my smart, funny, cute, little man is already 4! Tyler is such an amazing kid. Granted, I am totally biased, but he is always making me, or someone else smile. I don't quite know how to describe it, but it is like he lives each day to the fullest....and I think that's what makes him so special.

Best part of being four? " All my birthday stuff!"

On the day of his birthday, Tyler found out we will be going to Disney, we went to the Choo Choo for lunch, then Toys R Us, followed by dinner at Rainforest Cafe.  As if that wasn't enough, Saturday he had a pool party with his friends in the morning and then mini golfed at Congo River in the afternoon! I think it is safe to say he had a great birthday!

Had to have mickey pancakes after finding out about Disney!

4 already?!?!?!?

Of course a birthday cupcake at the Choo Choo

He walked right up and told them it was his birthday! Think he's done this before.....

He was excited to take his picture with the tree frog

4th of July Fun!

We had such a great 4th! Tyler was able to go to both Palatine's fest and Frontier Days with friends.  Hailey was able to catch the fireworks for the first time! Scott got up early Saturday morning to get the perfect spot for the parade....so more friends joined us there and the kids scooped up tons of candy! What a weekend!

San Antonio Part 2

Sunday we went to Sea World.  Lucky for us it was overcast and cooler, so basically the perfect day! The kids had so much fun checking out the animals, feeding the sea lions, going on rides, and playing in the splash park. Then Monday while Scott was working he dropped us off at the San Marcos Outlet Mall.  Nothing like a little retail therapy!(Both kids picked out their own cowboy boots!) And when Scott came back, he had brought me my own little treat....a Gourdough's Donut! For those of you who don't know, its a food truck in Austin that has been on many food shows for their  unique donuts. I'm not going to lie,  it was probably  the highlight of my trip! If you are ever in Austin----hahaha. Tuesday we just lounged at the pool before our ride home. Both of the kids slept the whole plane ride back! (Again, Miss Hailey and I sat in first. Thanks Scott!)  It was such a great trip, and we can't thank Scott enough for letting us join him!

Thanks Scott!

San Antonio Quick Trip Part One

Scott had to work in Austin and San Antonio, and since he knows how much I love it, he decided to fly us all down to join him for a long weekend.  As usual, it was amazing. The kids traveled so well and recieved tons of compliments on their great behavior!(Hailey and I  even sat in first class like true princesses!)  The first day was jammed packed. We landed in San Antonio, and man was it hot! Like 105! So we headed for BBQ, which was great, but almost too hot to eat anything.  After that we headed to the San Antonio Children's Museum to let the kids have a little run around time, a quick stop at the Alamo,  followed by milkshakes for the kids, and martinis for the adults! YUM! We all swam at the hotel and went to bed early---

These two are airport pros!

Operating a Caterpillar! So cool!

Getting into the spirit!

Hailey was so excited this fish was coming by her!

The Alamo---right before Hailey's hilarious temper tantrum.
That girl is going to be trouble!!!

Stay tuned for part 2! =)
