Tyler's First Concert

We are so proud of Tyler. Today was his first violin concert, and he was fantastic!!!  To see our little guy on such a big stage playing songs he has been working hard on was wonderful! Not only were Scott, Hailey and I there to cheer him on, he had his four great grandparents, both sets of grandparents, and some aunties and uncle there too! He is such an amazing kid, and we were so excited to celebrate his accomplishments. Great Job Tyler! We love you so much!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Every year we celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday.  This year seemed to be a super fun one.  The kids started the day with their green eggs and ham and pink yink ink drink.   Ty wore his Cat in the Hat shirt to school, and Hailey decided she wanted a new shirt this year, so her and I were off to JoAnns to pick up some fabric. I had to do  it quick, so I totally just did the iron on adhesive, but she was happy with the results.  We had a lorax lunch, and headed outside.  Finally decent winter weather---we played in the snow forever! Since Scott was in Atlanta today and not getting back until late, I let the kids take some nice long bubble baths. We read some of our favorite Dr. Seuss books, and then we had Go Dog Go and One fish Two fish for dinner. Everyone got in PJs to watch the Lorax Movie. It was a great way to start our week!!!
