Our December always seems to fly by. The first weekend of the month Scott had his company party in Milwaukee, at the Iron Horse Hotel, which I would highly recommend! The food, atmosphere, and hotel rooms were amazing. I was so proud of Scott when his company recognized his ten year mark! Wahoo! The following weekend we had our Ubert brunch at Busia's. It was great to catch up with the family and watch the kids open their presents. Then came the Pavey Christmas...again great company, good food, and the kids had a blast! Ty and Hailey even received gifts in the mail from some elves in Geneseo(thanks Jason and Amy!) and some elves in Texas(thanks Uncle Burt and Aunt Vickie!) Christmas Eve was here at the house with my mom's side. My dad's cooking was fabulous as usual, and seeing everyone together was great. Then, that same night we were off to the Uberts to exchange gifts. The kids were beyond spoiled and loved playing with their auntie and uncles. It was so easy to put them in their beds....But of course Santa came bright and early and both kids were up at 6. To say the house looked like a bomb went off is an understatement. Santa went way over board, and I am not sure what he was thinking with some of his gifts(check out the pic!). My parents came over for breakfast then came naps for everyone....at least until Tyler woke up crying, for 2 hours! Needless to say, Scott headed with Hailey to Papa's for Christmas dinner, while I stayed with my little man. Despite him being sick again(yes two years in a row!) it was a great Christmas. We are so blessed and lucky, and being able to spend time with 4 great-grandparents, grandparents, aunties and uncles, cousins---- family, that was our true gift!
