9 Month Princess

Wow, so much has seemed to change in the last month for Miss Hailey.  She really is turning into a funny, adorable spitfire! She seems to understand a lot, but only listens when she feels like it. For example, Scott asked her to stop when she made a beeline for the stairs, she did while he watched her, and as soon as he took his eyes off her she laughed and kept going.  She loves to dance and sing. She will even clap if Tyler sings to her. Hailey still eats like a champ, although she did spit out green beans, a girl after my own heart! Hailey knows that after dinner is bath time and she will make her way to the bathroom by herself.  She needs a bath daily since she is the messiest eater. She can climb stairs, and LOVES to scoot on the riding toys. She also has been cruising on the furniture and enjoys pushing the shopping cart.  She even has been caught standing by herself! I have a feeling we will really have our hands full with this cutie. We are working on signing please and thank-you with Hailey, but most of the time she will just make a sound and smile when we ask her to use her manners. She likes to pick out her own clothes and is really loving shoes. I am thinking that she might hoard more shoes than me! Hailey continues to bring such fun to our family, and we love her so much!




She is the only one I know who can pull the "food in hair" look off! =)

8 Years!

I can't believe Scott and I have been married for 8 years! CRAZY!!! And the crazier part is that I love him more and more each day! We have been through so much during our marriage, some amazing highs, and some real lows that I don't wish upon anyone.  But through all of it, we stuck together as a team, and I couldn't be happier with the way everything has turned out. =)  Scott is my best friend---I am so lucky that I get to call him my husband too.  I love you Scott, Happy Anniversary!

October is here!

I love October---mainly because it means fall, which is by far my favorite season! I love the smells of fall, I love the look of fall, and of course I love the clothes of fall! hahaha! Our October has started off with a bang! On the 1st we went to Gobbert's with the Foleys.  Granted I was very disappointed to see how expensive it has become just to run around and play, but it was worth it to see the smiles on the kids faces! Then I have all these fun kid food ideas for this month---so I have already made 2 of my favorites!  I know the month will bring many more great things to celebrate, including a bunch of birthdays, a cousin's wedding, and most importantly our anniversary!(8 years married, 14 years together!) I just can't wait!
