7 months!

Yes, Hailey is already 7 months. The time sure seems to be flying! Hailey is such a stinker lately(I smile as I write this!)  Now with her crawling everywhere, she thinks nothing is off limits.  She will follow me into every room, open cabinets, move things, ect. ha.  She seriously spazes when we tell her "no"---- She will throw herself down, squeal, kick her legs, and turn bright red. She puts everything in her mouth, which means I really can't take my eyes off her. Ty is pretty good about entertaining her if I have to leave for a second(think bathroom, get meals made, brush my teeth, haha), so I am not quite sure what I will do when he is at school! =) But with all that said, she is our little princess. She is very happy playing with toys, knocking stuff over,  pulling up on the furniture,  singing and dancing. She is eating 3 "meals"(cereal, fruits, veggies, meats) a day plus nursing and snacks! She is starting to wear size 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothes.  She still only has fuzz for hair, but the longest eyelashes ever! Her giggle is hilarious, and we often hear it in the car while Tyler sings, talks, and plays with her.  I imagine these two being great friends as soon as she really can play with him! Hailey cuddles with Scott every morning after she eats, and he is teaching her the important stuff, like making mom coffee. haha. She will gladly give us a hug if we ask(by putting her head on our shoulders) or kisses! Hailey totally brightens our day, and we love, love, love her so much!

Should be an interesting football season in this house! hahaha

Hailey trying mac and cheese---she LOVED it!

Crawling through the tunnel

Enjoying being outside

Ty took this pic---and she gladly posed for him!

Check out those teeth!

Like mother, like daughter---she likes things that sparkle already! WAHOO!

Just Because

These two crack me up.  I just love them!

Tyler has been so funny lately. Example---during the Olympics we watched the equestrian events.  I commented that I wanted a horse, but that they need room to run like on a farm.  He told Scott about my wishes, and then Scott agreed, yes, horses should live on farms. His response---well, you can have a horse mom and it can run at the race track.  OH MAN, guess he is like is dad. HAHAHA!

What's not to love about this face?!?!
Hailey is something else---showing her true diva! She LOVES food, and will protest very loudly by screaming, holding her breath, kicking her legs when she is done or not allowed to eat our meal.  It's kinda funny, but makes mealtime a challenge sometimes.  She also crawls now, so look out world! Her two teeth are so adorable, but she is using them at inappropriate times(when she nurses)!  Thank goodness she's cute or we might have issues here. HAHAHA!

She really has the best smile and is generally this happy!

Ring Security!

We were so excited when Angela had asked Tyler to be her ring bearer in her wedding to Ryan. Ty just adores her! So for the past year we have been talking to him about his job of "ring security".  Finally on Wednesday at rehearsal Ty realized just what a big job he had!  On Friday he was ready to roll! Of course he hammed it up because he had an audience, but we couldn't have been prouder of our little man.  Angela was stunning, and Ryan is lucky to have her! Both Angela and Ryan have been so kind to our son, and for that we will be forever grateful.  Thanks for letting him be part of your day!

The two cutie pies waiting for their turn!

And of course sporting his matching tatoo! =)

He seriously hasn't stopped sleeping with his presents! Thanks guys!

Our wonderful family

Are they not adorable?!?!

Gorgeous!

Ty and his favorite Auntie Sami!

I wonder why Ty always has his mouth open! Guess he got that from his dad!

Me and my handsome little man

He was so honored to walk in with the mother of the bride!

Having fun with Dad in his custom shirt from the bride and groom

This was the warmest hug I had seen him give to anyone that day, and somehow I caught it on camera.
I'm pretty sure an angel was hugging them too.

Hailey is 1/2!

Oh man, Miss Hailey is 1/2!  I don't even know where to start on this one! She is the most amazing little girl, and truly brings a whole new dynamic to our family.  She is so relaxed, quiet, smiley, and an all around good baby.  She sleeps like a champ, from 7-5:30, with 2 naps too! She is enjoying eating, and I have started to give her snacks like puffs and mum mums.  She is working on crawling---She can get on all fours, but hasn't quite gotten past the rocking, so she will just scoot and roll instead.  She loves to be held, and is content being on my hip watching everything.  Hailey LOVES the water. She doesn't want to sit and splash, she would prefer to be fully immersed in it.  She also is enjoying standing while playing---we brought out the play tables and push toys! Hailey cut her first tooth this week! The second one is right there, just hasn't broken through yet.  This is exciting--Hailey officially has fuzz on her head! Wahoo--I can't wait for pigtails! She was so happy to hear about her new girlfriends, Quinn Foley and Leila Henning! They were both born while we were in Wisconsin. We are waiting for Miss Holsen to make her debut! Hailey has started giving glares-- And trust me, they are nasty ones! I know, for such a sweetie pie, she can really stare you down! HAHA! Hailey is crazy about her brother.  She gets so excited and will yell for him when she sees him in the morning.  She also loves when her dad comes home through the door and her legs go wild! But,  I will admit that princess is a total mama's girl.   It makes it hard to do anything. NOT! I secretly love it and will gladly hold her forever, since this growing thing is way overrated.  I  just love her---and I know she feels the same because her first word was "MAMA".  Not to mention she just becomes more beautiful daily.  I know every mom thinks their kid is adorable, but I really mean that she is gorgeous! Complete strangers will come up to us and say what a beautiful baby! I often stare at her and wonder how the heck she is mine! She just melts my heart. I know Scott feels the same way! Miss Hailey, please stay this wonderful! We LOVE you!

Aw, this girlie is so sweet!

That's Miss Hailey to you!

Princess with her dad!

Pretty in Pink!

On Wisconsin!

Very early Sunday morning we headed up north(thank goodness for coffee!).  I was so ready for laying in rafts, no agendas, and time with my family!  We really didn't have much planned, but that's how it always starts then turns into the fastest, busiest week!

Tyler loves to play Yahtzee!

We went to Al Johnsons in Sister Bay--Ty and Hailey wanted to see the goats on the roof, while Scott and myself just wanted to devour the Swedish pancakes.
One day up there we headed to the Farm. It has always been a place so near and dear to my heart.  I have gone there since I was a child, and now to see my children enjoy it is just priceless!

The goats were so excited to see Ty!

Hailey wasn't too sure of the animals at first, but Tyler showed her how to feed them.

Miss Hailey so wanted to see this kitten. She was giggling the whole time while it rolled around!

He LOVED this chick.

We finally were able to hold a kitten(since it was pretty crowded and they are always a huge hit!), and both kids just smiled and laughed!

Ty milking a goat. Always a fun time there! haha!
On Wednesday, Scott and I  were able to sneak away for some golf! It was only my second time golfing, and I was not on my game, but we had a great time anyways!

I was so excited that my parents decided to do a fish boil(Thanks Scott for asking!). Scott and I just love this old family tradition---my Grandpa Anderson was even featured in National Geographic for his fish boil! What made it even better, some of their friends, along with family, friends, and even my dad's cousin were all able to make it too!  It was such a special night for everyone, and man did the fish turn out perfect!

Hailey was so excited to meet everyone, but fell asleep early, so missed most of the party! Bummer!

Scott was the official thrower for the boil! So glad that he is learning how to do it!

My "Aunt" Margi and Ann Woolley. These ladies were great friends of my grandmother, and always around during my summers up there.  It was so fun to hear some of the old stories and memories retold! I knew my grandma was smiling down and laughing with us!

Everyone was ready to eat the delicious fish!
And a lot of other fun things happened while we were up there---I'm just going to talk about Ty's because Miss Hailey has her own post soon! =)

It finally clicked, and Ty was off swimming by himself! He did this for hours at a time. So proud of my little man!

The boys went fishing, and Ty was able to real in his first "big" fish! Scott helped  him!

He was sooo happy about this bass! He was grinning all day and couldn't stop talking about it.

It was a wonderful vacation. I know there were so many other fun things we did, including hanging out with Scott's friend from college, House and his wife Elizabeth, riding the jet skis, eating, sleeping amazing, but then I could go on and on! I say it all the time, but I really am lucky, and getting to spend all that time with my 3 favorite people was just fantastic! I smile just thinking about it!
