4 months!

Where does the time go?!?!  Hailey is 4 months already, and it is so fun to see her grow! She is 13 lbs 9 oz and 24 1/2 inches long.  She just starting wearing size 2 diapers and fits in 3/6 month clothes. Can I just say that I am having soo much fun dressing this cutie?!?!   Hailey is still a great sleeper at night---7:30 until anywhere between 5-6, but lately has been protesting naps. Lucky for me she is super happy even when she is tired. She is a chatty cathy and will just talk non-stop!  She enjoys music and listens with a big smile when Tyler or I sing to her. She loves watching Ty play and will yell if he doesn't come over to see her.  Hailey is a mama's girl, and will smile, yell, and lean for me---I am thinking reaching is next! She rolls every which way and spins all over the place.  She is getting better at sitting by herself, and likes the jumperoo, but only to stand and watch everyone.  Miss Hailey is great at traveling---she was amazing on the plane to San Antonio and does well with the car ride up to Wisconsin.  She LOVES the water, and tries to lay down in the bath.  The only "bad" thing about our princess is I think she will be our party girl.  Every time Scott has a beer, she literally squirms, kicks, vocalizes and stares at him lift it to his lips.  OH MAN!  Gray hair on the way with this one! haha!  We love you Hailey!

God Bless Hailey!

Hailey Victoria had all eyes on her Sunday as she was baptized!  The service was beautiful, and she looked like an angel despite her cries.  She is so lucky to have Amy, Mark, and David as her god parents!  After church she got to celebrate with the family back here at the house---Thanks to all for making this day super special for her! God Bless Hailey!

We love you Hailey!

Mother's Day!

As if these two angels weren't enough---check out what I woke up to this morning!!!!

Need I say more?

Thanks Ty and Hailey, and of course the wonderful man who makes EVERYDAY my special day.

San Antonio Day 3

So our final day in San Antonio was pretty low key.  We ate breakfast, packed our stuff, and then headed out to do some shopping.  I mean, what would a trip to Texas be without getting some must haves for the kids--- cowboy boots and hats!?!  After our shopping adventure we headed to the other "real reason" why we were there, the BBQ!!!  So we drove to Texas Pride on Anderson Loop for lunch.  Every time I prepare myself that it probably won't be as good as I remember, but it always is!  I had the brisket and ribs, and Scott had the brisket, ribs and sausage combo.  Needless to say, we both looked at each other and decided, what the heck, lets split ANOTHER order of brisket and ribs.  YUM YUM YUM! I normally have pretty good self control and don't eat until I can't move, but this time I just had to make an exception.  What can I say, I love me some BBQ! haha. We headed to the airport and Hailey and Ty again were amazing, and we made it back without a single hiccup! It was the perfect ending to a great trip. I can't wait to do another one again soon!

My favorite munchkins!

We did find a pair in her size!

These two just melt my heart--they truly love each other!

SOOOO DELICIOUS!!!

San Antonio Day 2

After a great night of sleep, we were up early for our next day of San Antonio!  We grabbed a quick breakfast, and headed over to the zoo.  They had the cutest little train ride next to the zoo, so we jumped aboard for some fun before heading inside. Tyler and Hailey seemed to enjoy it, but Scott was so excited when we went past the driving range---while in range of the golfers! He was hoping the train would get hit, but of course it didn't. haha. The zoo was so adorable.  It was small, but super kid friendly. Ty and Hailey were able to get close to the animals, and since it wasn't crowded, Ty had some room to roam.  We got back to the hotel for quick naps, then headed to the river walk for my favorite martinis! Yes, I was THAT mom sitting with her children sipping drinks.  Quite a funny sight, but amazingly delicious.  We continued the river walk with dinner, just some guacamole and chips.  Then came the mariachi band.  Ty was talking about their instruments and how cool they were,  until they played them at our table! Hailey was in awe---she just watched them, listened intently, and smiled when they finished. We headed back to the hotel for some swimming since it was just too hot!  Hailey LOVED the water. She was talking, smiling, and splashing non-stop.  Ty mastered his jumping skills, and was under water more than he was above it! Needless to say, after baths the kids were out cold for the rest of the night!

All aboard!

San Antonio Day 1

So the first day started out with a bang.  Scott had arranged for a limo to take us to the airport.  Tyler was so excited, and of course princess was just loving the fun lights inside.  I was concerned about her flying, but Hailey was a pro on the plane.  She slept the whole flight! Tyler enjoyed sitting in his own seat by the window.  Once we landed we lathered on some sun screen(yes it was 90 and sunny!) and headed to Sea World.  It wasn't very crowded at all, which was so nice.  Tyler was able to enjoy climbing on the ropes and net course, the splash park at Elmo's Bay of Play, and even went on some rides---while both he and Hailey enjoyed watching the sea lion show, checking out all the animal exhibits, and feeding the dolphins!  Even though the park was smaller than the other Sea Worlds we had been to, our kids had a blast! We stopped for dinner on the way back to the hotel, and then called it a night.  Everyone was pooped!

San Antonio!

Our first trip as a family of 4 was amazing---3 days in San Antonio Texas!  I have always been a huge fan of Texas, but when Scott took me to San Antonio a few years ago for BBQ I had seen on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives I was beyond hooked.  Now it's the only place I can go for BBQ and Martinis! Seriously nothing else compares!!! Anyways, I craved brisket, ribs and bananabu martinis my whole pregnancy with Hailey, as in majorly, so when Scott booked this trip for us I was counting down the days! I googled a few things for us to do with kids, and since Scott and I have gone numerous times(yes just for the food and martinis) we knew exactly how to schedule our days. The trip turned out so great that we wished we had a few more days!  The time flew by, the kiddos were fabulous, and most importantly I got to finally eat and drink myself silly! =) WAHOO!!!!
