How did this happen? Hailey Victoria is one whole hand old---the big 5! Despite being a whole year older, Hailey is still our little peanut. She is in school 3 days a week, one of which has a special lunch bunch she enjoys. She is in dance and gymnastics on the other days. Hailey is still super girlie, with wearing even bigger bows(if that is possible),loving jewelry, manicures/pedicures, and of course dresses. For her birthday we started her celebrations on Saturday with the family, and her requested chicken parmesan and cold stone ice cream cake. Then on Sunday she had her kids party at JumpZone! Needless to say she had a blast!!! All she talked about for the weeks up to her birthday was getting her ears pierced when she turned 5. Sure enough, on Monday she put on her brave face and got them done. She cried for a few minutes, but once she shopped for more earrings and had some dinner at Cheesecake Factory she was a happy camper! This year Hailey V has become much more social and outgoing. She really values her friends, and we are so lucky she has some very nice ones we see often. Hailey can be quite dramatic---whether she is dancing, singing, reading to teapot or her "students", it is always a production. So much, that we are really considering an acting class this summer! Aww, but even with her confident personality, she is a sweetheart. She loves to just curl up and snuggle with a book or movie. She will talk our ears off all day about anything and everything. She still loves cooking, crafts, and puzzles. She enjoys board games and playdoh too. She really is reading up a storm and is quite good with numbers/math. I know she is ready for kindergarten next year! We are so proud of the little lady she is becoming, and can't wait to see what the future has in store for her! We love you Hailey V!
