I still can't believe that my little man is already 3. Yes, I am so fortunate that I get to stay home with him daily, but I really wish that I can slow this down! It is going by too fast! Tyler has grown so much the past year. We feel like he is discovering himself more and more! He enjoys cooking, which is kinda funny because he is the pickiest eater!(still no meat really, but will eat fruits, nuts, cheese, noodles, veggies, fried rice, fish) He is always singing, weather it be a song he knows or one he makes up with his great imagination. He is using his creativity more through art projects and crafts. Ty loves his play dates, and will ask every day if we can see friends. (Thank goodness he has some great ones we see regularly!) He continues to wake up early, around 6:15 and goes to bed at 7:30. He also takes about a 2 hour nap every day! Wahoo to that! He can tell time on the digital clocks, can spell some 3 letter words, is working more on sounding out new words, and also being more independent. His memory is amazing, as he can tell you his birthday, address, or even something that happened 3 months ago. He does tend to be a story teller, and will tattle on himself if he does something naughty. haha. He likes jobs, including getting my newspaper for me from the driveway and vacuuming with his dad. He is still a cuddle bug and will give hugs anytime! Normally if he starts to get a little sassy I can just ask if he needs a hug and that will help. He is really good with Hailey, but still enjoys alone time with me. I am trying to make more of an effort with this, and Scott has been a huge help. He loves books, and is read to at both nap time and bed time. He is a bit of an animal hoarder, and literally has a zoo in his bed. We only allow purple meow, baby meow, and blue blanket though on road trips. =) The next few months will be exciting for him with standing up in a wedding and starting preschool in the fall!(yes, he already knows 5 kids in his class!) We love Ty so much, and often reflect on how hard and long the journey was to have him. We wouldn't change a thing, as it has made us realize how much we love being parents, and makes him just that much more special. He truly is my favorite boy---and he makes both Scott and I so proud! We love you Tyler!

Ty's birthday was super packed with all his favorite things! It started out with opening his presents from Hailey, Scott and I. I love his expressions---hilarious!
After presents we went to get donuts and played with his new things. Then it was off to the CHOO CHOO in Des Plaines to meet the Foley's for lunch. As always, they were great company and Tyler loved seeing his friends! (Jen you are such a trooper!)

He was soo excited when the birthday song started---and when the train came with his cupcake!
|
Then after naps we headed to Toys R Us for another birthday present---a new train for his train table!
 |
| Ty loved using his fingers to tell us how old he is! |
Once Scott got home from work Tyler picked Chuck E Cheese for his birthday dinner. I tried sooo hard for any of the other restaurants that he likes, but he had his heart set on it. And it really wasn't that bad---hahaha.

| I'm not sure who was having more fun! |

Needless to say Hailey went right to sleep from all the action, so Tyler was able to enjoy a story with both Scott and I before bed. I think as soon as the light was turned off he was fast asleep. What a great day little man! Can't wait for your pirate party! Happy Birthday Ty!
Hugs and kisses to Ty on his 3rd birthday.....UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Loved all the pictures but especially the one of Hailey and Ty!!!!
