Today was Tyler's first day of preschool! It was so surreal to see my little man walking with a backpack down the sidewalk. I thought I would be more emotional, but to be honest, I was so happy for him. It was like watching him be who he's supposed to be. Scott took the day off, so I was able to stay with Ty at school and Scott had some alone time with Hailey. Right away Ty went to the familiar faces--Annabelle, Greta, and Lyla, who in my opinion were just as happy to see him. He found his name tag, then played, had circle time, craft, and played again! It was a great transition to start the school year! We can't wait to see and hear of all his new adventures! Way to go our "big" preschooler!

Rather than just stay home the rest of the day, we made it super special and headed down to The Museum of Science and Industry. Both Hailey and Tyler enjoyed the exhibits, especially since it was pretty much empty! There was room for everyone to roam and explore, and having Scott with made it amazing! What a fantastic day!

I cant believe its pre-school time already. Where did those 3 years go.....we are so proud of you Tyler ... Love the pictures and love the circle mat !!! Love you all !!!!
ReplyDeleteI mean, where has the time gone?! I remember so well when the boys "met" for the first time at Egg Harbor! It seems like just yesterday!
ReplyDeleteJackson is so lucky to have a good friend in Tyler and after yesterdays playdate he said "That was such a fun day with my buddy Tyler!" Those two are too cute together!
And how is Miss Hailey already posing for pictures!? She is something else!
