Pre-Easter Fun!

Our Easter weekend was sure jam packed with loads of fun! It all started on Thursday with Tyler's school skating party.  It was his first time there, and it really hasn't changed much since I was a kid. I was able to get a sitter for Hailey since Scott was out of town, so Tyler and I really had some nice alone time.  He has been practicing skating more and more since, and I know by next years' party he will be zooming along. =)

Sophie was Tyler's first friend from our neighborhood. So glad they are in the same class!

Then on Friday after Hailey's dance class we headed to a park district egg hunt at the indoor pool! The kids had a blast gathering eggs in the water. Scott was able to meet us there and  snapped some pics for me.(I was in the water with the kids just to be extra careful. It was pretty crowded and I just am way over protective. haha)

After the egg hunt we headed back home and indulged in some special treats. As usual Scott knew not to come home empty handed from Austin....but the poor guy will go broke. Not only did he buy me my favorite donut, the kids each got their own too! Once again, these donuts are seriously the best thing ever!!! I can't stress enough that if you are ever near Austin, go to Gourdoughs!!!! You can thank me later.
