To celebrate my "big" birthday, my amazing husband surprised me with a trip to Seattle. I have always wanted to go there, and it totally surpassed any of my expectations! Seattle has such a cool and relaxed vibe, and fantastic food. It was so nice to get away just the two of us for a few days, with absolutely no agenda besides a few dinner reservations! We were totally tourists---we hit the space needle, ballard, the fish market, century link and safeco fields, and lots of little shops and restaurants. (thanks to my friend Donna for some great suggestions!) We stayed at a GORGEOUS hotel that was within walking distance of most everything! To say the trip flew by is an understatement! I had such a wonderful time just hanging out with my best friend. I am such a lucky lady, and I will gladly turn another year older every year if this is what getting old is really like! =)
