With our schedules being so busy this fall, Scott and I thought it was important to make some time for our family. So we decided to take the kids back to Indianapolis for a fun quick weekend get away. We drove down there early Saturday morning, and headed straight to the children's museum. The first stop at the museum was the Haunted House. Tyler and Hailey LOVED it! Granted, it was during the "lights on" time, but it was still dark and filled with hidden facts, scary ghouls, spinning walkways, and missing dragon tails. Then we spent the whole rest of the day checking out all the amazing exhibits. Both Scott and I love watching their little brains absorbing knowledge. Then we headed to Keystone Crossing to walk around and grab dinner at Benihana. The kids had such a great time! Tyler seriously ate so much shrimp and zucchini, while Hailey just was in awe of the cooking! They both used their chop sticks, and asked when can we go again. Needless to say they were pooped, so we headed back to the hotel and went right to sleep! Unfortunately Hailey got sick Sunday morning, which had us leaving Indy a little sooner than planned. She was such a trooper on the ride back. Both kids have their own great stories and memories of that weekend, and I am so thankful to get to have these experiences with them. Life is good!
